Tatneft company. Tatneft: history of the company - iv_g — LiveJournal

The history of the oil industry of Tatarstan officially begins in 1943. It was then that an oil field of industrial importance was discovered in the Shugurovsky district. The era of mass discoveries of oil fields of the republic has come.
The chronicle of Tatneft's activities is recreated from books, brochures, government and party documents, newspaper and magazine publications published over the past 60 years.

No less interesting is the history of the emergence of the oil industry in the Tatarstan region, which has its roots in the distant past.

Late 17th century

This period includes the first written mention of oil shows and bituminous rocks. For the first time, the military department reported about Kazan oil in 1637: “... Kazan black oil 43 pounds 35 hryvnias with half a hryvnia ...”

The 18th century is characterized by an increase in the active search for places of surface seeps of oil and bituminous rocks, their description and use.

1703

Message in the Vedomosti newspaper: “They write from Kazan. A lot of oil and copper ore were found on the Soku River, a fair amount of copper was smelted from that ore, from which the Muscovite state is expected to make a considerable profit.

1718

The first conclusion about the Tatar oil was made for Peter I by the medical doctor Gottlieb Schober.

1738

Miner Ya.D. Shakhanin in the Cabinet of Her Imperial Majesty Anna Ioannovna.

1753

The first petition for permission to build an oil refinery at his own dachas was made by foreman Nadyr Urazmetov: “We ask that black oil be accepted and tested by the Berg Collegium and give us permission to build an oil refinery at our own dachas…”

The results of the search and use of oil and bitumen on the banks of the Volga, Sheshma and Sok, undertaken by Y. Shakhanin, N. Urazmetov, his son Yu. Urazmetov, the brothers Aslyam and Khozyam Mozyakov, Count Yaguzhinsky and others, turned out to be of little comfort.

1762

P.I. Rychkov, the first corresponding member of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences, made the first description of oil sources in the Volga region in the scientific literature.

Second half of the 18th century

The natural resources of the Volga region are being studied in depth. The Academy of Sciences organizes expeditions. The foundations of the region's geology are being laid, the structure of the subsoil is being studied, and experience is being accumulated in the organization of the oil industry.

1868

The Bugulma landowner Ya. Malakienko and his two sons carried out a great deal of work on the study of oil sources. He laid two boreholes near the Nizhnekarmalskaya settlement; he also contracted oil sources in the villages of Sarabikulovo
and Shugur. Malakienko received the first oil in the amount of 80 buckets, from which he received very good kerosene at his small oil refinery.

1870s

Several boreholes were drilled by the American entrepreneur Laszlo Shandor. From his report to the Mining Department: “All my research was crowned with complete success in the provinces: Kazan, Samara and Simbirsk. Rich inexhaustible underground pools of liquid oil lie in the valleys of the Soka and Sheshma rivers, to the northeast of Samara, as well as in the Samara and Bugulma districts. Near the villages of Shugur and Sarabikulovo, there are a huge amount of deposits of land saturated with oil.

Late 19th century

None of the exploratory wells drilled in the Volga region produced oil inflow. The reason is the weak level of technical means, which did not allow deepening and opening oil-bearing horizons (they lie below 600 m, and the deepest wells then reached only 350 m). Drilling of exploratory wells in the regions of the Volga region and Tataria stopped for a long period. There has been a decline in interest in the places of oil shows
in the Volga region and Tatarstan.

Early 20th century

The oil needs of the developing industry forced the state
and entrepreneurs to return to solving the problem of oil prospecting in the Volga region. A recommendation was made to start anew oil exploration at a higher scientific level. Attempts to drill oil exploration wells by the Baku oilman Yuzbashev and the Nobel firm
were not successful. And although it was not possible to identify the bowels of the industrial oil-bearing, nevertheless, the primary basis was created in the knowledge of the geology of oil, oil exploration. By the way, the level of studies of the geological structure of the territory of the Kazan province in the pre-October period was higher than in many others.

1918

The Kazan Economic Council was created and included in it a department of fuel with an oil section attached to it, which was then reorganized into a district (provincial) oil committee. In the very first years of Soviet power, the government and V.I. Lenin is closely involved in the organization of oil exploration. At the same time, special attention was paid to the search for oil in the eastern regions of the country - in the Volga region, in the Urals and in Siberia.

1918

Returning from the USA to Russia Academician I.M. Gubkin immediately joins the work of the Main Oil Committee.

By July 1, 1919, all oil enterprises of the Kazan province were nationalized. By 1920, Kazansky Raykomneft was in charge of about 50 oil enterprises and tank farms.

1919

THEM. Gubkin goes on an expedition to the Volga region, where he organizes the work of geological parties. In September 1919, the Presidium of the Supreme Economic Council discussed the report of I.M. Gubkin about Syukeyevsky oil sources. A decision was made to organize work in the Volga-Ural region,
including in Syukeyevo.

October 1919

THEM. Gubkin: "Under favorable conditions for exploration, a huge new oil region, which will be of world importance, can be brought to life." 13 wells were drilled in Syukeyevo. In the face of a shortage of everything necessary for oil exploration, hunger, and a lack of skilled labor, exploration continued until 1923. But no influx of industrial oil was received, and in 1924, drilling operations that had not been completed were stopped, and the Volga Oil Exploration Department in Syukeyevo was liquidated.

1924

Attention to the oil resources of the Volga region and Tataria has significantly weakened, exploratory drilling has been stopped.

1930

The decision of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Belarus "On the situation of the oil industry" was issued, which set the task of taking urgent measures to widely deploy prospecting and exploration work, to identify new oil fields, especially in the east of the country. The intensification of oil exploration began in the Volga region and in the Urals.

1938

Tataria turned out to be the region lagging behind in terms of the degree of exploration. Other regions of the Ural-Volga region have moved far ahead in this regard, in some regions oil has already been produced.
An independent Geological Administration of the Tatar ASSR was formed.

The Decree of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR and the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks “On the development of new oil regions” became a turning point in the history of oil exploration in Tatarstan. In connection with the construction of the Kuibyshev hydroelectric complex
and the flooding of part of the oil areas, it was proposed to speed up the exploration of these areas.
Many geological prospecting and oil exploration organizations from neighboring regions were attracted to Tatarstan.

March 1939

The XVIII Congress of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks put forward the task of creating a "Second Baku" - a new oil base between the Volga and the Urals.

The firm ensures sustainable replenishment of stocks. According to the independent international consulting firm Miller & Lents, the proven developed, undeveloped and undeveloped reserves of JSC Tat Neft at the beginning of 2009 amounted to 878.2 million tons of black gold.

1870s. Several boreholes were drilled by American businessman Laszlo Shandor. From his report to the Mining Department: “All my research was crowned with complete success in the provinces: Kazan, Samara and Simbirsk. Rich inexhaustible underground pools of liquid black gold lie in the valleys of the Soka and Sheshma rivers, to the northeast of Samara, as well as in the Samara and Bugulma districts. At the villages of Shugur and Sarabikulovo, there are huge deposits of land saturated with black gold.

End of the 19th century. None of the exploration wells drilled in the Volga region produced black gold inflow. The reason is the weak level of technical means, which did not allow deepening and opening oil-bearing horizons (they lie below 600 m, and the deepest wells then reached only 350 m). Drilling of exploratory wells in the regions of the Volga region and Tataria stopped for a long time period. There has been a decline in interest in the places of oil shows in the Volga region and Tatarstan.

Beginning of XX century. The need for black gold is developing industry forced state and businessmen to return to solving the problem of searching for black gold in the Volga region. A recommendation was given to start anew exploration of black gold at a higher scientific level. Attempts to drill oil exploration wells by the Baku oilman Yuzbashev and the Nobel company were unsuccessful. And although it was not possible to identify the industrial oil potential, nevertheless, the primary basis was created in the knowledge of the geology of black gold, oil exploration. By the way, the level of research on the geological structure of the territory of the Kazan province in the pre-October period was higher than in many others.

1918 The Kazan Economic Council was created and included in it a department of fuel with an oil section attached to it, which was then reorganized into a district (provincial) oil committee. In the very first years of Soviet power, the government and V.I. Lenin dealt closely with the issues of the oil exploration firm. At the same time, special attention was paid to the search for black gold in the eastern regions of the country - in the Volga region, in the Urals and in Siberia.

1918 returned from the USA to Russian Federation Academician I.M. Gubkin immediately joins the work of the Main Oil Committee.

By July 1, 1919, all oil companies were nationalized. enterprises Kazan province. By 1920, the Kazan Raykomneft was in charge of about 50 oil enterprises and oil depots.

1919 THEM. Gubkin goes on an expedition to the Volga region, where he organizes the work of geological parties. In September 1919, the Presidium of the Supreme Economic Council discussed the report of I.M. Gubkin about Syukeyevsky oil sources. A decision was made to start a company of work in the Volga-Ural region, including in Syukeyevo.

October 1919. But no influx of commercial black gold was received, and in 1924 drilling operations that were not completed were stopped, the Volga Oil Exploration Department in Syukeyevo was liquidated.

1924 Attention to oil subsoil The Volga region and Tataria significantly weakened, exploration was discontinued.

1930 The decision of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Belarus “On the situation of the oil industry” is issued, which sets the task of taking urgent measures to expand prospecting and exploration work, to identify new oil fields, especially in the east of the country. There is an increase in oil exploration in the Volga region and the Urals.

1938 Tataria turned out to be the region lagging behind in terms of the degree of exploration.

In connection with the construction of the Kuibyshev hydroelectric complex and the flooding of part of the oil areas, it was proposed to speed up the exploration of these areas. Many geological prospecting and oil exploration firms from neighboring regions were attracted to Tataria.

March 1939. The XVIII Congress of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks put forward the task of creating a "Second Baku" - a new oil base between the Volga and the Urals.

1940 The Shugurov oil prospecting party was created. All exploration companies operating in the territory of Tatarstan were transferred to the jurisdiction business associations Tatgeological exploration.

July 1943. The first oil field of industrial importance was discovered in Shugurov. Well No. 1 (daily flow rate 20 tons) was drilled by the team of foreman G.Kh. Khamidullin.

1943-1946 years. Discovery of the Aksubaevsky, Bavlinsky and some other deposits.

1948 The Romashkinskoye field was discovered - one of the largest in the world. The beginning of the intensive development stage - oil was obtained from Devonian sandstones at well No. 3 (daily flow rate 120 tons). amounted to 422.3 thousand tons in the republic.

1949 For the first time, the fundamental basic provisions for the development of the Romashkinskoye field were determined. It was proposed to operate it with the use of in-loop waterflooding.

The publication of the large-circulation newspaper "Oilman of Tatarstan" has begun.

By 1950, black gold deposits were discovered with a total industrial reserves of 430 million tons. Despite the fact that by the beginning of the 1950s Tatarstan had the largest industrial reserves of petroleum products in the country, oil production was poorly developed (100 thousand meters of rocks were drilled, 41 wells were built).

1950 The Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR organized association of enterprises"Tatneft Group" as part of the oil-producing associations of the enterprises "Bavlyneft", "Bugulmaneft", the drilling association "Tatburneft", the construction and installation association of enterprises "Tatneftepromstroy", the design office "Tatnefteproekt".

1953 In January, the first gathering of young oil workers of Tatarstan took place. Mass socialist competition unfolded. Advanced teams of teams of masters G.Z. Gaifullina, M.M. Gimazova, M.P. Grinya, M.F. Nurgaleeva, M.M. Beloglazova achieved record penetration rates.

On November 3, 1953, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, r.p. Almetyevsk was given the status of a city.

1954-1955 years. Oil-producing associations have been transformed into oilfield departments. The working settlement Novaya Pismyanka was transformed into the city of Leninogorsk.

1956 The directives of the 20th Congress of the CPSU for the 6th Five-Year Plan determined the tasks of bringing new deposits of black gold into development in the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. The Tatar Oil Research Institute "TatNII" was created. In the city of Almetyevsk, a consulting center of the Moscow Oil Institute named after I.M. Gubkin, which was later transformed into the Tatar Evening Faculty of the Ministry of National Economy and the State Enterprise, and later - into the Almetyevsk Oil Institute.

Tatneft Group produced 18 million tons of black gold. In terms of oil production, the association of enterprises comes first in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics ().

Tatneft is the sixth largest oil producer in Russia. Despite its relatively small size (compared to the top three), Tatneft is quite influential within the industry. This is one of largest taxpayers Tatarstan is an industrially developed region, one of the two Russian centers of the petrochemical industry. The company is distinguished by a high proportion of "heavy", sour oil in the produced products, which, when mixed in the main pipeline system with Siberian lighter oil, worsens the quality of the mixture, reducing its price. But the channel for the supply of this raw material to the West is never closed. Including because the company is controlled by the authorities of ethnically independent Tatarstan, and the federal center does not want to joke with them.

The history of the oil industry of Tatarstan officially begins in 1943. It was then that an oil field of industrial importance was discovered in the Shugurovsky district. The era of mass discoveries of oil fields of the republic has come.

No less interesting is the history of the emergence of the oil industry in the Tatarstan region, which has its roots in the distant past.
End of the 17th century. This period includes the first written mention of oil shows and bituminous rocks. For the first time, the military department reported about Kazan oil in 1637:
“... Kazan black oil 43 pounds 35 hryvnias with half a hryvnia ...”

The 18th century is characterized by an increase in the active search for places of surface seeps of oil and bituminous rocks, their description and use.

1703. Message in the Vedomosti newspaper: “They write from Kazan. A lot of oil was found on the Soku River
and copper ore, a fair amount of copper was smelted from that ore, from which they expect a considerable profit for the Muscovite state.

1718. The first conclusion about the Tatar oil was made for Peter I by the medical doctor Gottlieb Schober.

1738. Miner Ya.D. Shakhanin
in the Cabinet of Her Imperial Majesty Anna Ioannovna.

1762. P.I. Rychkov, the first corresponding member of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences, made the first description of oil sources in the Volga region in the scientific literature

Second half of the 18th century. The natural resources of the Volga region are being studied in depth. The Academy of Sciences organizes expeditions. The foundations of the region's geology are being laid, the structure of the subsoil is being studied, and experience is being accumulated in the organization of the oil industry.

1868 The Bugulma landowner Ya.

End of the 19th century.

Beginning of XX century.

1918 The Kazan Economic Council was created and included in it a department of fuel with an oil section attached to it, which was then reorganized into a district (provincial) oil committee. In the very first years of Soviet power, the government and V.I. Lenin is closely involved in the organization of oil exploration. At the same time, special attention was paid to the search for oil in the eastern regions of the country - in the Volga region, in the Urals and in Siberia.

1918 Returning from the USA to Russia Academician I.M. Gubkin immediately joins the work of the Main Oil Committee.

By July 1, 1919, all oil enterprises of the Kazan province were nationalized. By 1920, Kazansky Raykomneft was in charge of about 50 oil enterprises and tank farms.

1919 THEM.

October 1919.

1924 Attention to the oil resources of the Volga region and Tataria has significantly weakened, exploratory drilling has been stopped.

1930 The decision of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Belarus "On the situation of the oil industry" was issued, which set the task of taking urgent measures to widely deploy prospecting and exploration work, to identify new oil fields, especially in the east of the country. The intensification of oil exploration began in the Volga region and in the Urals.

1938 Tataria turned out to be the region lagging behind in terms of the degree of exploration.

March 1939. The XVIII Congress of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks put forward the task of creating a "Second Baku" - a new oil base between the Volga and the Urals.

1940 The Shugurov oil prospecting party was created. All exploration organizations operating in the territory of Tatarstan were transferred to the jurisdiction of the Tatgeologorazvedka trust.

1948 The Romashkinskoye field, one of the largest in the world, was discovered. This marked the beginning of the stage of intensive development - oil was obtained from Devonian sandstones at well No. 3 (daily flow rate of 120 tons). Oil production in the republic amounted to 422.3 thousand tons.

1949 For the first time, the fundamental basic provisions for the development of the Romashkinskoye field were determined. It was proposed to operate it with the use of in-loop waterflooding.

The publication of the large-circulation newspaper "Oilman of Tatarstan" has begun.

By 1950, oil fields were discovered with a total industrial reserves of 430 million tons. Despite the fact that by the beginning of the 1950s Tatarstan had the largest industrial oil reserves in the country, the oil industry was poorly developed (100 thousand meters of rocks were drilled, 41 wells were built).

1950 By a decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the Tatneft association was organized as part of the Bavlyneft and Bugulmaneft oil producing trusts, the Tatburneft drilling trust, the Tatneftepromstroy construction and installation trust, and the Tatnefteproekt design office.

Extraction of the first million tons of Tatarstan oil.

1951 The School of Drilling Personnel, which was previously part of the Saratovneftegaz association, was transferred to Tatneft.

1952 As part of the Tatneft association, the Almetyevneft oil and gas production trust, the Almetyevburneft drilling trust, the Tatneftegeofizika, Tattekhsnabneft, and Tatnefteprovodstroy trusts were organized.

1953 In January, the first gathering of young oil workers of Tatarstan took place. Mass socialist competition unfolded. Advanced teams of teams of masters
