Projects of two-story houses made of foam blocks. Projects of two-story houses and cottages made of foam blocks Simple two-story houses made of foam blocks

A two-story house is always better than a one-story house. Especially if the family is large. Very a good option- build two-storey house from foam blocks. Good because such construction will cost less than a brick house. And such a structure looks quite attractive, it is not too difficult to build.

Where to start construction

Naturally, from the foundation.

Foam concrete is not a very heavy material, so it can be used to build a two-story house. strip foundation, buried to the depth of soil freezing, that is, one and a half meters.

First you need to clear the site for the future home and level it. Then, using ropes with pegs, the places where the trenches will be dug are marked. They should be under every wall of the house.

Trenches are dug to a depth of 1.5 meters, a layer of gravel and a sand cushion are poured onto the bottom. Cellophane is laid to prevent dehydration of the concrete mixture, and formwork from boards is installed.

Inside the formwork, reinforcement is made of a metal rod, which is attached to each other in the form of a lattice. The thickness of the rod is 10-12 mm. Cell width - 300-400 mm. The rod is fastened together with knitting wire.

Then concrete is prepared from cement, sand and crushed stone in proportions of 1/3/5, and poured into the formwork. Concrete gains its strength within 6 weeks.

Other types of foundations

In addition to the strip foundation, a slab or pile foundation can be built for a two-story house made of foam concrete.

Slab foundation

The foundation is so named because it is a concrete slab on which the house stands.

In order to make such a foundation, you need to dig a pit slightly larger than the size of the house. The depth of the pit is 25-35 cm. A thin layer of crushed stone is poured onto the bottom and a sand cushion is compacted.

You need to compact it thoroughly so that you can walk on the sand without leaving marks.

A cement screed 10 mm thick is made on top of the sand. The solution for it is made from cement and sand in a ratio of 1 to 3.

After making the screed, roofing material is laid on it, which will serve as waterproofing. The seams are blowtorched and the edges extend beyond the sand bed so that they can be bent onto the concrete foundation slab. Then formwork is constructed from boards around a foundation pit with a sand cushion. The inside of the formwork is reinforced with a metal rod. You should end up with two gratings located one above the other.

Now you can pour the concrete. But first, insulation, for example, polystyrene foam, is installed along the formwork. Concrete mix it should gain its strength for a month and a half, then roofing material is laid on top again. You can build walls.

Pile foundation

IN individual construction most often used screw piles. Because they do not need to be hammered in, their installation does not require the use of special equipment.

The piles are screwed into the ground and cut so that they are at the same level. They are tied with a metal channel.

When choosing a foundation, you need to take into account that if a two-story house has floors made of reinforced concrete slabs, then it is best to choose a strip foundation. Because the weight of the house will increase.

We build a house from foam concrete blocks on a strip foundation

As already mentioned, the foundation needs to gain its strength. After about a month and a half, you can start building walls.

If you have built a strip foundation buried to the depth of soil freezing, then you can make a small basement under the house.

To do this, a hole is dug under one of the rooms of the house so that the concrete strip serves as the walls of the basement. This is usually done under the future kitchen or under the hallway.

You need to dig the basement before building the walls. This makes it easier to remove the soil.

Before you build walls, you need to make a plan of where the window and door openings will be located. After all, the appearance of the house largely depends on this.

Lay the blocks using a building level and plumb lines. Especially, you need to pay attention to the first rows. After all, if they are laid unevenly, the entire masonry will suffer.

Depending on the quality of the foam concrete blocks, they are placed either on mortar or glue.

When the walls of the first floor are raised to the required height, formwork is installed along all the walls, on top, metal rods are laid and concrete is poured. A concrete belt is formed, which gives the structure additional strength. The solution for it is made the same as for pouring the foundation.

After the concrete belt has gained the necessary strength, installation of the floor begins.

If the floors are reinforced concrete, then special lifting equipment will be needed.

If it is not possible to use technology, then you can make wooden floors from laid timber or round timber. Such material can be lifted upward using a hand winch.

On the wooden floors between floors, boards are laid on top, and the ceiling is mounted from below. All voids are filled with mineral wool for insulation.

Ladder

Naturally, if there are two floors, then there must be a staircase.

You need to determine a place for it in the process of drawing up a house plan. The staircase should be located so as not to block the corridor or get in the way. It should fit well with the interior of the room.

If lifting equipment is used to install floors, you can install ready-made flights of reinforced concrete stairs. Usually they make two marches connected by a platform.

If space allows, you can make a one-flight staircase without a platform.

If, on the contrary, there is not enough space, then they make a spiral staircase.

When installing the ceiling, you need to provide the place where the stairs will go out and leave an opening there.

In addition to reinforced concrete, you can make a staircase from wood or metal. Artfully designed, it can serve as a noticeable interior decoration.

After the installation of the floors has been completed, construction of the walls of the second floor begins.

If you plan to make a balcony, then this must be foreseen in advance. This is done so that the ceiling extends beyond the wall to the required distance.

The walls of the second floor are built in the same way as the walls of the first floor were built. After the walls are raised, the concrete belt is poured on top again. For the top floor, you can not use slabs, but make it wooden.

If there is just an attic on top, then a so-called black ceiling is installed from various wooden waste. The ceiling of the room is made from below, and from above this ceiling is covered with clay mixed with straw. After drying, the clay serves as a good thermal insulator. Additionally, expanded clay can be poured onto it.

Roof

After all this work, the rafters are installed. They can be made either from wooden beams or from thick boards.

One end of the rafters lies on the concrete belt of the second floor.

After the rafters are made, the installation of the roof begins.

Roofing material is selected depending on appearance Houses. Depends on what the exterior decoration will be like.

Insulation

A house made of foam concrete needs insulation.

You can insulate it both from the outside and from the inside. But you can only do it from the inside.

Any type of insulation can be used suitable material. Typically, foam is chosen for external insulation as a cheaper material. For internal - penoflex, or something similar to it.

Many insulation materials have a special connection to facilitate installation.

If the ceilings of the second floor are made of reinforced concrete, they must also be insulated. This is done during the installation of the second floor floor.

If you are unable to build a two-story house from foam blocks, but... additional area is needed, then the problem can be solved with the help of an extension. You can see how to implement it.

Based on the designs of modern houses, we can conclude that foam blocks are the leaders among materials for construction. If you need a house to be built quickly, but without compromising quality, aesthetics and strength, then this is possible with the help of foam blocks. Such material will not only save your money, but also wasted time and effort.

Foam block is a unique material

In terms of comfort, projects two-story houses foam blocks are absolutely in no way inferior to wooden ones. They have their own characteristics, such houses are vapor permeable, unlike wood, foam blocks are fireproof, more hygienic, and also have a longer service life. Due to the low density of the material, a massive foundation can be abandoned. For foam blocks high level sound absorption and low thermal conductivity, so you will not be disturbed by extraneous noise.

The project of a two-story house made of foam blocks can be developed with a garage, if necessary, a covered one parking space. If you do not want to waste time, be sure to contact our specialists.

Today, few of our compatriots who decide to move to their own new two-story house for permanent residence will begin to build it on their own. It doesn’t matter where this property will be located - within the city limits, or outside it (in a village, on the territory cottage village, on the outskirts plot of land). In most cases, people start looking for either profitable offer from developers, or contact professional builders directly. But first of all, they determine what material their new home will be made of. If we consider the prices for two-story houses made of foam blocks, and compare similar objects built from brick or profiled timber, then blocks made of foam concrete are more attractive not only in price, but also in their other properties.

The secret of the popularity of foam concrete blocks

The low price compared to most traditional materials (red and sand-lime brick, profiled or laminated timber) is one of the main arguments influencing the choice of foam blocks for building a house. But we should not forget about the other advantages of this building material. For example:

  • Ecological cleanliness. By this parameter foam concrete blocks not inferior ceramic brick and even lumber.
  • Low level of thermal conductivity. In terms of this parameter, foam concrete is almost three times superior to ordinary (red) ceramic bricks of the same thickness.
  • The porous structure of foam blocks provides the walls with the ability to “breathe”, which in turn helps to create a favorable microclimate in the premises of the house.
  • The material is not susceptible to fungus, is resistant to corrosion, and has high fire-fighting properties.
  • Durability and resistance to negative impacts natural and climatic phenomena.
  • Light weight and precise geometric dimensions make it possible to build a two-story house from foam blocks faster than a similar building made from brick.

The combination of all these properties contributes greatly long term services of such houses. There are many examples where houses made of foam concrete, built more than 100 years ago, are successfully used today.

Offer from Mera-Stroy

We offer turnkey two-story foam block houses to all interested parties in Moscow and Moscow Region, as well as development project documentation. The client can also order: provision of the site with the necessary building materials at wholesale prices, delivery of them to the venue construction work, phased construction and installation, finishing works and other types of related activities.

Two-story house made of foam blocks - quite a lot of buildings are now being built from foam blocks, especially in suburban construction. The design of such a building will allow you to build a large house even on a small plot and arrange the rooms favorably.

As a rule, rooms are located on the ground floor common use: kitchen, living room, dining room, and on the second floor there are bedrooms and children's rooms. Small two-story houses made of foam blocks are relatively inexpensive, and are built much faster than brick ones.

Advantages of using foam concrete blocks for construction

Due to its unique composition, foam block is becoming increasingly widespread in construction:

  • Foam blocks are made from foamed cellular concrete, which is quite strong and easy to construct;
  • The blocks have the correct shape and are easy to cut. They are larger in size than bricks, which allows for faster construction of walls;
  • They can be easily combined, which allows you to erect a variety of buildings according to individual projects. It is not difficult to find such projects of two-story houses made of foam blocks for free now, as foam concrete is becoming more and more popular;
  • The material is made from natural raw materials, so it is environmentally friendly;
  • The house will have a pleasant atmosphere, since foam concrete has the ability to “breathe”. The thermal conductivity of the foam block is quite low.
  • The foundation for a two-story house made of foam blocks may not be particularly powerful, since they themselves are light in weight.

How to develop a project for building a house from foam blocks?

Let's take a closer look at how to build a two-story house from foam blocks with your own hands to ensure minimal costs, and ultimately get a spacious and warm house that meets all safety requirements.

Work begins with design. You can choose an already developed project, of which there are quite a lot on the Internet, or you can draw up your own plan, which will allow you to build a unique and inimitable house.

The project of a two-story house made of foam blocks begins with planning its placement on the site. It is necessary to determine the sunny and shady sides, remembering that large windows on the sunny side provide not only good illumination, but also reduce heating costs.

Consider the dimensions of your future home in accordance with financial capabilities. The design of a 9x9 house made of two-story foam blocks is a typical convenient solution, since such dimensions allow you to conveniently plan rooms on the first and second floors.

A custom design allows you to include an attic, an attached garage, and a usable basement in your home plan, which can accommodate anything from a workshop to a personal gym.

The attic room will allow you to equip those rooms for which there is no space in an ordinary house: a billiard room, a library, a creative studio. Installing special windows in it will provide optimal natural light.

Stages of work on the project

It is best to draw up a house project in consultation with a professional architect. This is quite a complex and responsible job, since the convenience, durability and practicality of the future home will ultimately depend on it. The preparation of the project takes place in several stages, during which it is necessary to comply with the main rules and building codes.

Main part of the design

When working on a project, it is important to consider several patterns. Sample design instructions:

  • When designing a foundation, the composition of the soil and its depth must be taken into account. groundwater. It would be a good idea to consult with specialists and conduct a geological examination in advance;

Advice! It is worth thinking about insulating the foundation, especially if the house is planned to be built on heaving soils. When the soil freezes, it expands and will put pressure on the foundation, which can ultimately cause cracks.

  • The most important step is calculating the thickness of the walls. According to building regulations, 10 mm masonry can support a weight of about 10 tons, and it is necessary to calculate the weight of the floors and roofing materials. The thermal insulation properties of foam concrete are high, and in the absence of additional insulation, walls with a thickness of 300 mm will be sufficient for a completely comfortable home. In terms of its properties, it will not be inferior to a brick building, it will even be warmer;
  • Together with all family members, imagine how many rooms you plan to have in your home, and how they should be located. It is worth taking into account all the needs and wishes, for example, it is better to place rooms for elderly family members on the ground floor. If you own modern computer programs modeling, you can take a virtual “walk” through your future home to make sure that it will really be comfortable.
  • Consider the location of door and window openings and mark them on the plan. Imagine how well-lit the rooms will be, and whether it will be convenient to walk from one room to another. Another important point– location of the stairs to the second floor. It can be straight or curved, and it is important that the steps are not too steep.

Having decided on the location of the rooms, choose the appropriate roofing material. Do not forget that most of the heat escapes through the roof of the building, so it is worth taking care of multi-layer insulation.

The floor in the building must also be insulated, for which you can use either traditional materials, or plan to create a “warm floor” using water or electricity.

Planning finishing materials

You can start planning the finishing. There can be many options here, and the final choice will depend solely on personal preferences and financial capabilities.

You can find out how much it costs to build a two-story house made of foam blocks by adding up the cost building materials required for the construction of the building and the costs of paying hired workers and equipment.

When drawing up estimates, you should consult with professional builders and be sure to include at least a small percentage in the calculations for excess consumption of materials.
