The ticket remains on the troika. Replenishment of the Troika card with a bank card

How to pay for a train with a Troika card if you need to move out of town or to a dacha using suburban rail transport. A plastic payment instrument called Troika has become available to Muscovites since 2013. He replaced the waiting in long lines for tickets for travel on trains and not only.

How to use

You can buy and activate this card at any subway ticket office. To do this, the buyer makes a security deposit of 50 rubles, and also replenishes the balance by 50 rubles. These actions will activate the card, as can be seen already at the first turnstile. When you have a trip out of town, you can also use this payment method. The main thing is to have an amount on your balance not less than the cost of an electric train ticket.

It happens that the card does not activate on its own (this is a rather rare, but possible option), then you should also contact the operator at the cash desk. The activation process itself does not last more than 5 minutes.

If the Troika has been used once, but its account has been replenished for an amount greater than the cost of travel by train, then you should know that the funds will be stored on it for at least 60 months from the date of the last ticket payment procedure.

Important! Although the card does not have the "Named" status, it will not work to use it to pay for travel for two or more people. Since the interval between operations for buying a ticket should be equal to ten minutes.

In order to use Troika on suburban railway trains, you should buy plastic with combined Troika and Strelka functions from the cashier's operator. Further use of such a card does not differ from the use of the usual "Three".

Fare payment

You can pay for travel with the Troika through a stationary point - a turnstile. The process of processing the balance and debiting the ticket price from it will not take more than three seconds. In cases where the railway station is not equipped with a turnstile, you can pay for the ticket directly in the train carriage. For this, the controller has a special reading device, with the same principle of operation as a mobile terminal for receiving payments and issuing checks.

In order to buy a cheap ticket, you can select up to two fares at once and link them simultaneously to one Troika. You can choose from:

  • "Daily" tariff.
  • Weekend rate.
  • "Working day" tariff.

Replenishment can be made simultaneously for each of the tariffs.

How to find out the balance

From the phone, you can call the Troika subscriber service phone:

  1. Dial 3210.
  2. After waiting for the operator's response, enter the card details.
  3. After a few seconds of waiting, the operator will tell you the rest of the money.

Also, the balance of the card will be shown by the Mobile application, through which you can easily replenish the card in the future.

Payment for the "Strelka" train is possible if the subscriber uses the passage between two transport interchange zones in Moscow.

Zone A directly includes GFZ Moscow and the Novomoskovsk administrative district.

Zone B - Kuntsevo, Troitsky and Zelenogradsky AO.

If the card is not supposed to be used and there is no money on it, then it can be safely returned to the metro ticket office. In this case, the subscriber will be refunded the deposit.

To make it easier for citizens to use public transport services, a plastic card with reusable top-up capabilities was developed. This is a Troika card. But before you start using the plastic carrier, you need to activate the top three after online top-up. Such activation is required only if the finances were deposited into the account remotely via the Internet.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA. APRIL 2, 2013. New types of tickets have been introduced in Moscow. The new ticket is a refillable plastic card, a so-called “electronic wallet” nicknamed Troika (in pic). Another new ticket option is tickets for 90 minutes. They may be used for one trip by the underground and an unlimited number of trips by on-ground transport within 90 minutes. Troika card activation methods

Plastic card "Troika" provides an opportunity to pay for public transport services by debiting virtual finances from a personal account. Thus, it will be possible to avoid long queues at the cash desks, as well as the constant exchange of large bills in denominations that are convenient for payment. Most often, cards are used to pay for metro fares, but the function of buying tickets for buses, commuter trains and even the central zoo of the capital is also available.

Conveniently, there are several ways to add funds to the balance, but after each of them, you need to activate remote replenishment. The main options for online replenishment include the following:

  • use of a stationary terminal located in the metro;
  • using the payment terminal "Megafon";
  • through the Velobike service;
  • online through Sberbank.

Via the yellow information terminal in the metro station lobby

After completing the procedure, you do not need to additionally activate the carrier, since finances are instantly credited to the virtual account and can be debited immediately during the trip.

Important! This method allows you to top up your account with a maximum of 3 thousand rubles. And, when using public transport, money will be debited from the virtual account according to the established tariff rate.

Through the Megafon terminal

It is not always convenient to get to the metro station in order to replenish a virtual account. Therefore, you can also use the stationary terminals of Megafon, which are located in almost every frequently visited store.

To make a top-up, you need to do the following:

  • go to the main menu of the program, where among the range of available tasks you need to select "replenishment";
  • the next menu asks for the display of the method of replenishment, namely "direct", that is, transfer of finance to
  • virtual balance from cash;
  • displaying the identifying features of the card, as well as entering the required amount of funds.

The procedure ends with a click on the "Next" button, after which the money savings are transferred to the account almost immediately. And the activation of such a payment takes place within a few minutes, so you can continue using Troika for travel.

At the Velobike rental station

Another convenient option for remote top-up is Velobike.

To do this, follow the following submenus:

  • top up the balance;
  • choose the card "Troika";
  • go to the balance menu;
  • identify the device by scanning;
  • deposit funds.

The above are those methods that imply instant activation of the received payment. But it is also possible to replenish the card via home or mobile internet. Holders of bank cards can carry out the procedure through their Sberbank Online account. But, then, in addition, you will have to activate the payment in the stationary terminal of the nearest metro station.

In 2019, fares for travel with the Troika card in public transport slightly increased in value. At the moment, there are the following tariffs that can be recorded on a single travel card - the Troika transport card:

  • Purse;
  • Single;
  • 90 minutes.

What opportunities does each of the tariffs provide, which one is the most profitable and cheapest for traveling around Moscow?

Tariff "Wallet"

It cannot be called a full-fledged tariff, the name speaks for itself - you just need to put money on the card and pay for trips with it according to the tariffication:

From January 2, 2019, the cost of one trip has increased from 36 to 38 rubles... And the tariff for 90 minutes on Troika now costs 59 rubles instead of 56.

Tariff "Single"

The "" tariff plan assumes that you know how many trips per month you can spend. You can choose for 1, 2 and 60 trips, or choose tariffication by day.

The cost depends on the number of trips - the more there are, the cheaper the cost of one, the table of tariffs with a limit clearly shows the decrease in cost in the third column.

With a limit of trips

Travel Cost, rub. The cost of 1 trip rub.
1 55 55
2 110 55
20 - -
40 - -
60 1900 31.67

Of this tariff line, the most favorable tariff is for 60 trips.

Unlimited daily tariff plan

For those whose work is directly related to public transport, for example, couriers, it will be beneficial to sign up for Troika with an unlimited travel pass for a month or more. You can put it once - for a year and forget, but the cost is not small.

Tariff "TAT" - Trolleybus, bus, tram

"" - a tariff suitable for those who do not use the metro, but get to their place of work only by ground transport. There is no point in taking the Unified One if you go down the metro 2-4 times a month. The tariff “Bus, trolleybus, tram” is offered in only three versions:

  • one trip purchased from the driver - 45 rubles, and one trip along Troika - 38 rubles.
  • unlimited travel by land transport for 30 days - 1140 rubles.

The TAT tariff for 60 trips has lost its relevance and was withdrawn from circulation on January 2, 2019.

Tariff "90 minutes"

Tariff "" is not limited to one trip, 1, 2 or 60 trips, 90 minutes each, can be recorded on the Troika card. At the same time, it is impossible to combine this tariff with the Unified and TAT, you will have to choose.

For an hour and a half given to you for 59 rubles, you can go to the metro and the MCC once and change ground public transport an unlimited number of times.

You can go from the metro to the MCC at this rate, there will be no additional charge, but there should be no bus, tram or trolleybus between the metro and the MCC.

On average, 90 minutes is enough to get from one point in the city (from home) to another (to work) by public transport.

How much does the Troika card cost in 2019?

The cost of the Troika card has not changed, it is 50 rubles deposit, which are returned in case of return of a working card to the ticket office of the subway. Few people use this opportunity - the money is small, and there is no need to return it, it is convenient and practical.

Where can I buy a Troika card?

You can get a Troika at almost any metro station by paying a deposit of 50 rubles. Having deposited money into an electronic account, you activate the card and you can start using it.

Have you already picked up a favorable tariff?

YesNo

After the tariff system was changed in Moscow at the beginning of April 2013, there was a need for a universal means of payment that could be used on all types of public transport to pay for fares. This is how the Troika card appeared.

What is a Troika card?

The Troika is based on a contactless Mifare Plus X2k plastic card. Thanks to her, the means of payment turns into a kind of electronic wallet with functionality, cut to a state of replenishment and payment. This is a convenient tool that replaces travel and regular tickets, and also allows you to save on travel costs.

Card capabilities

Three types of paper tickets are stored on the Troika card: TAT, 90 minutes or United. This is an alternative fare payment option. For example, you can not only replenish your account (the maximum limit is 3 thousand), but also save tickets to the card. In the future, they will be used in the first place and only after the validity period or the number of trips comes to an end, the money will be debited. The second possibility of the card is replenishment. There are several ways that can be conditionally divided into direct and remote. Let's consider a means of payment in more detail.

What does the card and its number look like?

The standard, unmodified Troika card is drawn in blue. On the front side there is a company logo, an image of a horse troika and the name of the card itself. The reverse side lists the tickets that can be saved on the card, the company's email address, support number, useful information and a number. It looks like three blocks of numbers, the first has 4 characters, the other two have 3.

Tariffs and cost of the Troika card

When the card appeared, the Moscow Department of Transport issued a statement that tariffs would not increase for several years, due to which this means of payment would become more and more profitable. Indeed, there were no changes for 2 years, although the prices for regular tickets were growing. In 2015, there was a small adjustment, on average 5% of the cost upward. The only exception was the Aeroexpress tariffs, which are charged with a separate price not linked by the Moscow Department of Transport.

Base

The basic fare assumes a single price for travel by ground transport, monorail or metro. The price is 35 rubles. For tickets like "90 minutes" - 54 rubles. In this case, deductions from the card occur at the most favorable tariff for the user.

"Recording" tickets

It has already been briefly mentioned above about the recording of tickets. This can be done at Mosgortrans kiosks or at the metro ticket office. In the latter case, TAT tickets will not be available. In the event that the card was purchased before 09/20/2013, it must first be updated, since the possibility of recording appeared later. To do this, you need to insert the card into the service terminal and top up with any amount. At the end of the operation, a message will appear stating that the map has been updated.

Ticket recording locations

To book a ticket, you need to renew using the automatic terminal. But not all of them are suitable. Please note that the update functions are not currently available on the following stations:

  • Clean ponds.
  • Pipe.
  • Park of Culture.
  • Leninsky prospect.
  • Krylatskoe.
  • Kaluga.
  • Exhibition.
  • Water stadium.
  • Running.
  • Academic.

Operating principle

The card supports three types of travel tickets, but cannot combine some of them. "TAT" and "One" do not conflict with each other and can work simultaneously. But if at least one of them is active, then a ticket like "90 minutes" cannot be written down. The converse is also true. There is no limit on the number of tickets recorded. The system works as follows (for example, ground public transport):

  • A check is carried out, the ticket "90 minutes" or "TAT" is recorded.
  • If so, it makes its way.
  • If not, the search for the "Single" ticket is performed.
  • If it is, it breaks through.
  • If not, an amount sufficient to pay for the fare is debited from the card.

This algorithm does not work for inter-zone routes.

Tickets are valid in order of priority. If there are two identical tickets on the card, then first one expires, and only then the expiration date of the second begins to count.

Troika card modifications

There are two convenient modifications for this fare payment device: Five and Strelka. They expand the functionality of the card and provide the owners with more options.

Five

This is just a variation of the triplet that was given to first-year university students in 2013. Until November of the same year, the card was used as a "United" ticket for all types of transport and without restrictions on the number of trips. After that, it became identical to the original Troika. At the moment, such cards are not issued, although they are still actively used.

Three and an Arrow

This is a more advanced modification that includes simultaneously the functionality of the Troika and Strelka cards. In fact, both systems of electronic means of payment operate almost identically, but thanks to such a combination, the functionality is expanded. Trips are now possible on routes that previously required the purchase of paper tickets. It should be noted that the balance of both cards is different, and to use this hybrid, you need to replenish one or the other account.

Keyrings

In 2016, if a single ticket for a period of 90 days was added to a Troika card, a special key fob was issued. It was no different from a regular card in terms of functionality, but it was more convenient to use and carry. Now such devices can be bought at the metro ticket office. Price - 300 rubles. There is also a hybrid version with Strelka, which costs 350 rubles.

Troika and Plantain

This is another modification, but this time the Troika card was linked to the Plantorozhnik system, which performs similar functions, but is relevant for St. Petersburg. The general operating principle is similar to the Troika-Strelka hybrid.

Product Benefits

  • Low cost of travel compared to regular tickets.
  • The ability to replenish the account remotely.
  • There are several handy modifications.
  • You can save travel tickets to your card.

Disadvantages of the card

  • You cannot buy a train ticket from home.
  • Automatic terminals cannot link tickets.
  • The funds in the account cannot be used to purchase travel tickets.
  • You cannot link a card to a phone number.

Troika mobile app

In 2015, the “My Travel Pass” application appeared, with which you can replenish the balance of the card, and even save tickets on it. In addition, users of this program get the opportunity to:

  • Check balance.
  • Clarify the data on the number of trips on the pass.
  • View transaction history.
  • Link a bank card.

Where can I get the card?

You can buy a card at the ticket offices of the metro, OJSC MTPPK and OJSC Central PPK, as well as at Mosgortrans kiosks. One card costs 50 rubles, but this amount is considered as a deposit that can be collected by returning the card.

Balance check

  • There are yellow information terminals at metro stations. If you attach a Troika card to them, the screen will display information about the number of trips on the saved tickets and the balance on the account.
  • When passing through the validator located at the entrance to the vehicle, the balance on the card is displayed.
  • The balance can also be viewed in the application, at the controller or on the screen of automatic terminals.

Refill

All options for replenishing a Troika card account are divided into two categories: direct and remote. Let's consider each of them in more detail.

Direct

You can directly top up the card at:

  • Automatic terminals and subway ticket offices.
  • Mosgortrans kiosks.
  • Through the terminals of Credit Bank of Moscow, Eleksnet, Aeroexpress, EuroPlat, Megafon and Velobike.ru.

Remote balance top-up

If it is not possible to replenish personally, or if you want to do it remotely, you can transfer money to your account:

  • On the Troika website (Section "Cards", item "Remote top-up").
  • Via SMS with the text "troika (card number) (top-up amount)". It must be sent to the short number 3210. Relevant for Tele2, Megafon, MTS and Beeline subscribers.
  • Through the services of agents Yandex.Money, Megafon, MTS, Euroset and others. A complete list is presented on the company's website. In this case, the replenishment will be only conditionally deleted. To confirm the transfer of funds, you will need to use the services of the metro information terminal.
  • With the help of the Auto Payment service, you can activate it on the Troika website. You will need to bind a bank card, from which funds will be debited as needed.

Residents of Moscow and the Moscow region can use a convenient fare card called "Troika". With this plastic card, you can pay for travel in accordance with the tariffs, but before that you need to deposit money on it. This can be done in a variety of ways. Let's take a closer look at how to top up a Troika card through Sberbank online. The process is simple and convenient - you need to follow certain instructions, and then, do not forget to activate the payment.

It is also possible to pay for Troika with a Sberbank plastic card via the Internet, using the Metro ("M") application - we will analyze this option as well.

Replenishment in the personal account of Sberbank

All holders of a plastic card from Sberbank can use convenient services in their personal virtual office, which allow them to make transfers and pay bills via the Internet without leaving home. Depositing money to the Troika card is also possible thanks to this service. But you need to know about a number of conditions for such an operation:

  1. The top three can be replenished through Sberbank Online for no more than 2.5 thousand rubles.
  2. Funds on a plastic card for payment of travel will be kept for 5 years.
  3. There is no commission or interest for the operation.
  4. After replenishment, you need to activate the funds on the card.

Now let's look at step by step how to top up Troika through Sberbank Online. This requires:

  1. Log into your virtual office by entering your username and permanent password. After that, enter the SMS - password from the phone.
  2. Now you need to enter the "Payments and Transfers" section.
  3. Then follow the following navigation: "Payment for purchases and services", "Goods and services", "Transport", "Troika transport card".

    Important! This map in the section is available only if the region "Moscow and Moscow region" is selected. If a different region of residence is indicated in your account, change it.

  4. Now we fill in the opened payment form. Here you need to enter the six-digit Troika card number and the desired payment amount, as well as indicate the account from which the funds will be debited.
  5. You will need to confirm the operation and enter the password from the message on the phone.
  6. After everything is done correctly, the amount will be debited from the account that was specified for payment and sent to the Troika card.

You can pay for Troika through Sberbank Online from the mobile application in the same way as through your personal account.

Replenishment of the card using the Metro application

You can also top up Troika using a bank card via the Internet in another way. To do this, use the Metro mobile application. Install it on your device. The icon for this application looks the same as the metro sign “M”. Let's consider in detail how to top up Troika from a bank card through this application:

  1. Open the application and click on the ruble "R" icon at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the option "Replenishment from cards".
  3. Fill in all the required fields: Troika number, card number from Sberbank, code on the back, amount to top up.
  4. Confirm the operation.
  5. Then an SMS from Sberbank will come with the payment data for verification and a code. If everything is correct, then enter the code in the appropriate field and confirm.

If everything is done correctly, then the money is immediately debited from the plastic of Sberbank and sent to Troika.

We have analyzed how to pay for a Troika card through Sberbank Online or via the Internet, but all these methods require confirmation, that is, activation of the deposited funds. Let's see how to do this.

Activation of deposited funds

To activate the deposited amount of money, you need to go to the subway to a special yellow device - an information terminal and use it to activate:

  1. Click on "Remote card replenishment".
  2. Bring the Troika to the scanner (the circle at the bottom of the device).
  3. The screen will display information about the funds deposited and the validity period.

Using the methods discussed in the article, you can top up the Troika card for 60 trips, or for more or less of them. It is important to remember the terms of storage of funds on a plastic card to pay for travel.
