  • If all operations are performed correctly, the taxpayer will be in his personal account, after which he can use the functionality available to him, described earlier. You can leave your account by clicking the corresponding link located at the top right of the page.

  • The Federal Tax Service gives the owner of a personal account the opportunity to customize his profile by clicking the left mouse button on the "Profile" link located there. In the window that opens, you can enter your phone number, confirm your e-mail address by entering it and clicking on the button "Send a letter to this e-mail to confirm it" below. There you can also allow sending messages to the specified address or unsubscribe from this, as well as give permission to recover the password by e-mail. At the end of all operations, press the "Save" button. Finally, the taxpayer can block his account by clicking on the link “Refuse to use the service”.

  • In the newly opened page, you need to indicate the reason for the refusal and press the burgundy button to block. Operation completed!

  • A useful option that allows you to further simplify the entrance to your personal account is password change. To do this, you need to tick the checkbox of the same name on the profile page, then enter the old password in the appropriate fields and twice - the new one, which, with a minimum length of 7 characters, should include uppercase and lowercase Latin letters, numbers and punctuation marks. After the password is entered, you need to click again on the "Save" button.

  • You can also log in with a strengthened digital signature by clicking on the link "Login / registration with an electronic signature key" located just below the previously described login window.

  • On the next page, the system will prompt the visitor to check the correspondence of the used software safety standards by clicking on the link "Go to the verification of implementation technical conditions". Upon completion of all formalities, the taxpayer will be able to use his digital key.

  • If at least one of the parameters does not meet the requirements of the Federal Tax Service, the user will receive a corresponding notification. Now he has to either correct the situation using the method indicated on the site, or log in using the TIN and password, as described earlier.

Important: the entrance to the personal account can be carried out through the portal of the State Service. The user will need by going to the authorization page - lkfl.nalog.ru/lk, click on the link "Login / register using the account of the State Services portal" located under the main login window.

  • Log in to the State Service by entering your password and clicking the "Login" button.

  • If necessary, enter a captcha, confirming that you belong to living people, and click on the "Continue" button.

  • Ready! If the data is entered correctly, the taxpayer will again be in his personal account on the website of the tax inspectorate.

Important: the user can enter the account in any way convenient for him: there are no restrictions on functionality depending on the authorization method.

What do you need to enter the Tax Office?

Below we will consider the procedure for entering a personal account for individuals: this is the largest and, unfortunately, the least knowledgeable group of Russian taxpayers about its capabilities.

  1. Get a taxpayer registration card... This can be done at any branch of the Federal Tax Service - not necessarily where it is registered. When going to the inspection, a citizen needs to take with him an identity document - usually a passport or international passport; other, less popular options are also possible, which you can inquire about from an employee of the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate by calling the hotline beforehand. If authorization is planned for a child under the age of fourteen, it is required that his legal representatives be present when receiving the registration card: parents (at least one of them), adoptive parents or guardians. In this case, you will need to take two documents with you: the child's birth certificate (or another document suitable for confirming his identity) and the representative's passport (international passport).

Advice: if a registration card is lost or stolen, the taxpayer must appear at any branch of the Federal Tax Service with the documents mentioned earlier.

  1. By means of enhanced digital signature... You can get it at any, regardless of the place of registration or registration, certification center; the only requirement is that the institution at the time of issuance of accreditation from the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. Since a qualified electronic signature is an exclusively digital product, it can be stored and transferred on any suitable medium: hard disk (HDD / SSD), flash card or smart key. To use an electronic product, a taxpayer must install the CryptoPro CSP version 3.6 and higher and use one of the browsers listed above.

Important: digital information stored on any medium should be treated with particular care: the signature file may be deleted as a result of inaccurate user actions, which will lead to the need to restore it: otherwise, the use of the site will become impossible.

  1. With a single account Identification and authentication systems (ESIA) used when entering the personal account of the online service of the State Service. This option is only suitable for users who have passed all stages of identity verification.

There are currently no other options for entering. One can only hope that in the future there will be more modern, advanced and at the same time simple methods that allow the taxpayer to fulfill his debt without wasting time and effort.

    • if the taxpayer sends an application to the Federal Tax Service for the refund of the overpaid personal income tax - find out if it has been completed office check or at what stage it is;

    • fill out and form the documents required for the payment of personal income tax, and in addition, in case of untimely payments with the IFTS, - penalties and fines in the amount established by the state;
    • fill out and prepare other electronic payment documents for sending to the tax office;
    • after entering the data in a suitable electronic form, print out a fully prepared document for further payment in any bank or other credit institutions operating in Russia;
    • use the generated payment document online - provided that credit organization concluded a corresponding agreement with the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
  2. If it is an individual entrepreneur, in addition to the functions mentioned above:

  3. Credibility... One of the authorization methods (and for legal entities the only one) is the use of an enhanced qualified electronic signature of the CryptoPro standard, which makes the forgery of any document certified by it impossible.

The disadvantages of the system include:

  1. Complicated procedure for entering your personal account... The user is offered several options for authorization in the system, but each of them is associated with significant inconveniences, including of a technical nature: obtaining an enhanced qualified electronic signature and its further use requires certain skills and knowledge. And if it is not a problem for a legal entity to hire a specialist, an ordinary taxpayer will have to use other methods of entry or waste time getting to know modern technologies crypto protection.
  2. The need for a stable Internet connection... Yes, the channel may not be too wide, and communication is carried out according to any applicable standard, but it will not be possible to do without the Global Network. The only exception is the pre-downloaded program for filling out the 3-NDFL declaration: it can be run offline and, without haste, enter the data into the form. True, for further sending, the taxpayer will still need to connect the Internet.
  3. When using a digital signature as a tool for entering your personal account- the need to use a browser that complies with the previously mentioned GOSTs. The developers of the online service offer three options: Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001, Yandex Browser version 17.9.1 and Sputnik. Thus, not in all cases the taxpayer will be able to use his favorite browser. These restrictions, however, do not apply to unauthorized use of the site: it is possible through any program for browsing the Internet, while - only from a suitable browser.
  4. Other inconveniences caused by enhanced protection of data transmitted in the system and affecting mostly legal entities.
